Holy smokes I almost read that as 'Sony opens up PSP to everyone' kinda thing. :)
Ahh..Well..all in all that sounds good for psp users. Back when I had it, fuuuuu....cc...Kay, it was quite a complicated byatch to get the hbrew on unless you wanted to stick with that 1.5 fmware (not for long if you wanted to play Street Fighter yo! :) ).

Shut, open, shut, open, shut, open, rinse and repeat forever.
:) Compulsory firmware upgrade ahoy!

I don't thnk a firmware upgrade could plug the leak without breaking the encryption on all existing signed software. The only possible plug would be a hardware modification.
This is the holy Grail of keys.
The bad news is every game will be pirated and can be played on un modified psp's but the good news is I will now hopefully have a simple route to pspgo homebrew - that will be great!

I have a PSP but I'm too sissy to code on it. Afriad I might brick it (PSP 3004)

Mine have been gathering dust for the past year or so.
I may did the pspgo out though if this code signing picks up pace.
