Title: Music Remixes....
Post by: Grapple on December 14, 2008, 08:47:58 pm
I dont think too many people have let this site go by unnoticed....

http://remix.kwed.org (http://remix.kwed.org)

Great Remixed versions of hundreds of old songs... in MP3 format... Actually have a few different decent versions of the Warhawk (Proteus) Music...

Yep, it sure is a great place. I found it a few years ago and seriously got the bug, there are some amazing pieces (and some real shit).

Now it's a weekly visit to check out what's new.

slayradio.org is good if you want some random sid remakes to chill out to in the background.

There is also some great versions of Arc Pandora on there. God I love that tune... Classic!

some of the remixes are quite awsome. A lot can be said for some of the Amiga mixes also.

RKO is a fantastic site indeed. Amazingly it is still free too with better music than anything in the charts (including the Kernkraft 400 rip-off of Lazy Jones for the masses which the Instant Remedy version trounces). Have a search for Hazel, he's really good too especially the Comic Baker funky remix :)

There is a couple of cool sites for Amiga music too I should post up. I have been messing around with some of my favourite MODs lately and with some effort with the samples and digital recording equipment the results are just stunning to hear again after all these years.
