This is my first post on the forum and is just a hello to all and a quick intro about me.

These days I'm an IT manager but 20 odd years ago I was the graphics designer for Proteus Developments. I designed most of the graphics and levels for the c64 version of Warhawk. I also kicked up a fuss until Flash and the other nameless one had the game playing like I wanted it so if you don't like it blame me :) I also did a little (very little in fact) work on Tanium. I've known Flash since he was knee high to a grass hopper.

I hope I get time to participate fully in the discussions here and take this opportunity to wish you all a happy new year.

BaDToaD aka Big E aka Ian :)

Welcome to the board BaDToaD...

I hope you can have some fun here and I will try not to push you into any work on Warhawk DS...

(Though I do know you would want it - erm "just so..." :) )

Coding for the love of it!

Thanks for the welcome guys :)

And thanks headkaze for the comments re Warhawk. It may be 20 odd years ago but I'm still proud of it and I love the fact people can still play it all these years later via emulators. I still play it on my GP32 every once in a while.

I've sent Flash some graphics I put together a few years ago for a retro style game called Catacombs that never saw the light of day. I still need to do the character animations but there are enough graphics to at least put a basic game together. If it ever gets to beta stage I will no doubt get motivated to animate the characters.

Bad toads are notoriously unpredictable...now, if his username was 'NiceFroggy' he'd probably still be around. :p
