Congratulations Flashy McFlash.

...only 24 years late, but I think a 'congrats' is still in order. :)

I've been clearing out the attic and that means, among other things, throwing out all my old computer magazines.

As I was flicking through them, one last time before binning them, I noticed this review of Warhawk for the C64, in Popular Computing Weekly, 24-30 July 1986. Yay Flash. :)

Do you want the magazine?...I can plop it into an envelope and send it if you're interrested.

I had never seen that before - must have missed it 'back in the day'

You - LATE? Why did you not mention this 24 years ago?  :)

I would love it mate! Do you want me to pay postage?

You're right...I'm just keeping to my usual schedule and you can expect Horace and UXB in 23 years time. :P

Now that you bring it up I think I still owe you for the one you sent to me, so asking you to pay the postage would be a bit cheeky. ;) ...don't worry about it. :D

how many diffcent magazine did you read sokky? It would been fun read some old danish magazine as well, if you don't use that. I still have some Amiga magazine as well, and sometimes fun to read old magazine and old game. That could been inspirated to do remake of less known games.

Look like you also have a Spectrum, while I have a C64 that time (not because I dont like Spectrum)? I just ask.

I didn't read any Danish magazines - only English. I read Your Spectrum, Your Sinclair, Sinclair User, Crash, Popular Computing Weekly...and the occasional random stuff.
...so yeah - I was a Speccy owner.

Sometimes I wonder if you understand English at all. ;) :)

No problem - I'm just glad I noticed it and had the chance to make you happy.

I nearly didn't notice it. I'd already been looking through a bunch of them and only looking at the software reviews at the start of the magazine, before archiving them....vertically, but for some reason I flicked all the way through this one...and whaddayaknow - there was a Warhawk review. :) ...so I did the same with the rest, but didn't go back and flick through all the previous ones.

Lucky coincidence.  :-*
