Title: Tanium (Meant to be Warhawk II) (C64)

This is the released version of Tanium.

The "Warhawk II" part was stripped when "Andrew Betts" contacted Players Software to tell them that he had the contract for Warhawk and that this was not the sequel. He did have the contract and the thieving Bastard also stole all the royalties (except the advance) from myself and a friend called "Big E" who also worked hard on the Warhawk project.

Anyway, this game was never really finished and the loss of the Warhawk branding really killed it for me. So the game was quickly finished and released (also on the CPC and Spectrum). This was meant to be so much more, more of a simpler Gradius.

If anyone can hack it to stop the loss of all powerups upon a life loss - PLEASE. I nearly lost the will to live after playing it to get some screen shots!

This version lack the end of level serpents, has different enemies, and no scrolling background!

Nearly fell off my chair reading "Warhawk II" !!!, bit disappointed then : know it by heart or die !

Tanium is actually quite cool (what there is in that version) except that the ship movement is tooooo sloooooo'.
Maybe get the Tanium on Iphone? Never know...

(also, wth was with all the titles back in the day? tanium, schmanium, perfumium...seriously.)  :D

I cannot even remember where "tanium" came from now? I thought I made it up, but if looked up I bet it is some kind of genital wart?

Sounds like an airborne disease to me.  :D

influenzium II, Artaneum X, Vulvatium 3 (the revenge), Maxilla Facialium, etc.
