Title: Scanning Adverts
Post by: flash on November 19, 2008, 05:27:10 pm
I am scanning old adverts for things like, mz80k's, Apple II's, Atari's, etc and also for games by various publishers.

I was wondering if they would be best posted to the gallery with the system they relate to, or if a gallery for adverts would perhaps be a better option.

Any comments or thoughts would be great.

Thats a tough one. I would think they would probably be better to go into their own section.

Yep, done them in their own section.

Found some nice old ones. Quicksilva and their zx81 games, Mr. Micro, and an early Game & Watch.

Uploaded 32 to the gallery, all with search keys to make them easier to filter.

Phew... Will have a break from photoshop for a bit.

There is one advert I remember and really can't find a decent scan of. It's the original A500 Amiga advert from Commodore UK. The one where it says 'All other computers are just a toy' and there is a sketch of a computer with ST style function keys and a big wind up key on the side.

I have abosultly tons of stuff to go through, so it may well turn up, when I get time to go through them some more!
