After two and a half decades I've just discovered that Rob Hubbard ripped of the Warhawk theme from another tune. LOL

See here:

What do you reckon to that Mike?

It has been mentioned several times. That sid music site (forgotten) had a little tread about it, and also Rob himself admitted it as inspiration (well, a bit more than that really).

Inspiration! LOL Blimey it's a total rip off. It rather put a damper on my views of Mr Hubbard. He'd always been a bit of a hero but now he's just a talented bloke. Slightly less a hero if you will. I'm sure I'll forgive him at some point though LOL.

It was so cool listening to the early Warhawk down the phone that time. I'll never forget that. Moments like that are one offs.

We need to get together for a coffee again mate I'd be nice to see you and have a chat. I can show you the Pandora too.

He is still excellent and my opinion is unchanged, though it is a rip off, there are several small changes.. LOL

Yes, we must get together for a coffee. Bit bloody cold at the moment (i smoke so outside is a little off putting).

Did he state clearly his work was a SID version of John Keating's tune? (or at least a rework?)  :-[

Yes, it is in Binary ASCII represented in the drum data. How much clearer do people want it...  :)

OK I've let Mr Hubbard off now. He's back to being a hero LOL

You and your bloody fags. It makes meeting up at this time of year difficult. What about your office or are you not allowed to have people in there for national security reasons ;)
