Can you not force sidebar.exe to run from task manager and then make it auto load?
The machine I tried it on insisted on Standard VGA driver being best (ATI 9000 Mobile) and yet Vista was quite happy to accept the old Dell XP driver...hmmmm not good as Std VGA is a bit erm 'crap' to put it politely and refusing old XP drivers seeing as Win7 is just Vista SP3 is a money making idea not a technical difficulty.
I think it looks rubbish anyway haha

Windows 7 rc 1 is worth a play with!!
Lots of things work much better now and it is a lot faster than Vista. Also, DevKitPro works a treat this time... A major bonus!!

Core 2 duo with 2 gig ddr3
I will try VMware later and let you know if it works ok? The only problem i have had with VMware is getting the resolution higher, could not work out how to do that?
I will have another play!
