Fantastic. I was waiting to see who's gonna break the ice, hehe! :)

About that Sam n Max, I saw it working on Ipad, have to say that bloody thing (ipad) is made for some pointyclicky adventures big time!
Heck, could imagine the ease of playing Day of the Tentacle on this.

Did you JB it yet?
Then you can check that *certain game* to see what it does. :P

EDIT: Ah, just saw 'cydia' among the icons, well that answers the question.
Now, post someplace secret how that other game looks on it. ;)

LOL!!! I will post as soon as I get round to installing the 'game' (what game?) ;)

At the moment I got too bloody addicted to S&M Penal and Geometry Wars.. Both a fantastics. GW moves some serious glowy stuff about..

Let's Golf is also a thing of beauty and a dream to play.

P v's Z is also wonderfull (If you like the pc original).

I bought the 64gig 3G one and spent ages trying to trim a T-Mobile Sim down to size... Not as easy as you would hope! It all works.

The Web on that thing is also VERY good.. Fast and well rendered (I tried to get to a certain product page, but it was missing :( )

Right... We will 100% have to look into this as an option (I don't think I have said too much LOL - Do you think everyone believes we gave up games after MMLL and TDG?).

So, loving it... Jailbreak is a breaze (appsync works the same), the system is *FAST*, and the iBooks is perhaps my FAVE app (and will be used TONS).

Gotta shove some films/tv/music/photos on there though.

ps. Yes, I have bought 4 games and 3 apps. Jailbreaking is great to play the stuff that you normally would not bother with. S&M is worth £15 of anyones money - perhaps the best use yet.

Excllnt!! :)
Install it pronto (before Monday)! But yeah, I can see how everything is overwhelming now as there is a lot to try first!
What was the problem with sim slot tho?

Also, I would expect web to be just about the best you can get in between iphone/smart phone - netbook/laptop solution.
The same for pdfs, I got a bunch of books on iphone but somewhat always felt that the whole zoom in/out and such is just tiring, this resolution just seems perfect.

I've uploaded *that site again* (geez all that secrecy :) ) so you can try it out again, same bat Chanel. :)

The secrecy *isses me off a little - but needs must LOL (and I don't want SF telling me off)

The sim in the iPad is a micro sim. A smaller version and you need to trim and existing one in the correct places.

The Web is better (by far) than any Netbook I have had. Much cleared and quicker. Remember, most Netbook are only Something x 600 pix and you cannot landscape it.

Lobo, my friend, my pal, you need one ;) ('Layers" is a WONDERFUL little digital art package also ;) )

Yarr..definitely need one bugger. :)
Haven't heard of 'Layers' tho, I know about Adobe Ideas, that one works swell on iphone so should be perfect on Ipad.
Agh..enjoy the thingie AND don't forget the secret pics (no, not those in the shower). ;)

Of course you have not done anything wrong - Just worried that if I say too much, I will get told off :) :)

The Secret game will be put on it over the weekend. Even expanded graphics will be really nice to see and also it will be great to see how it runs.

At the moment, I am just setting it all up and getting the email on there as it is pretty good for typing. Well, a nice unit all round.

It is one of them funny products where you see it and think "I want one, but I really have no idea why?" LOL.

You bast! ;)

I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it. I actually have a colleague who is NYC right now and for a few days more so I've been thinking of calling her to ask her to bring one with her for me. I'd only go for the 16gig 3G one, though, as I doubt I'll be watching movies on it and 16gigs on my iPhone would also have been sufficiently. I'll think it over for another day or so.

Well,

64 gigs is more than i need, but... Seeing as you cannot expand it, it is best to go for the larger memory you can stretch to.

As for 3g... This is really worth having as it is really nice to have net access/youtube/email/online scores/etc...

I have fallen in love, and I am gonna make the wife sleep in the shed while I take the iPad to bed :)

It just occurred to me that, as far as I know, you can't get the 3g one without a plan, right?
So, how did you get it - since you've been...tailoring a SIM card yourself?

The iPad is network unlocked and can be bought 'sim free'...

So, no, you do not need a contract or anything for the 3g version.

Layers looks quite neat-o, I do have Sketchbook by Autodesk, back in the day it was the most expensive app in the store (around $14 or something) which is where I drew those first sketches for *that game*. :)
