I love this port of the game to the DS.  The new rooms are an especially nice touch!
But I haven't been able to work out the "new mystery" that's alluded to in the development thread...

I think it's something to do with inspecting the gargoyles in the proper order, and turning the fountain off...?

Any hints?

That's the one. Without spoiling anything, make sure to look at the tapestry thing with the Gargoyle drawing, it's very simple thing. Also be aware that the wrong choice in this puzzle can kill you. ;)

Sorry, still stumped here...

Turning off the fountain isn't really the issue, but rather what to do after...
The fountain seems to be revealing a new clue, although I can't figure exactly what it seems to be alluding to...
That symbol seems to show up in a number of places, and I've tried everything I can think of to find a connection somewhere...
As for now, I'm trying to stick various things in the fountain, but I think I may have gone off track...

There's only one item that will fit inside the fountain but you have to get it elsewhere. Try to see if something can be done with that trophy in the landing leading to Mc Fungus room. :)

WARNING: SPOILERS!!!

i've finally had some time to spend on the game again, but unfortunately didn't get much farther...

I've found the grave, but can't seem to get much happening with it.  All together, I reckon that the outside entrance, McFungus' room + landing, garden, cemetery, dining room, and washing machine room are all new, so the answers must all come from these areas, but I can't figure how I'm supposed to use the items therein to help me progress....  Am I supposed to clean that shirt somehow?  Is that all a red herring?

Am I the only one having trouble with this??!?

No you're not, but there is something in at least one of the locations you mention that you don't seem to have tried yet.

Is there a walkthru for this game?
Can't figure out what to do to solve the new puzzle.

How can I even interact with the statue on 2nd floor?!?

I think I've done it.  :-\
But is there more to do?

SPOILER:
I set the ghost free at the graveyard, but what about the fountain? I turned it of, but what for?

Need to replay this myself, I see. I thought I had seen everything new, but judging from this conversation, I haven't...

There are a couple of extra puzzles but they are not needed to complete the game. I just wanted to add a few extra puzzles and Lobo actually did quite a bit of the main puzzle design. It is a bit tricky I must admit, but you are supposed to be a Detective right? ;)
