Not a great deal, but.. (how's Chicago Lobo?)

I even made a little snowman that the local newspaper took a picture of (for some strange reason)

What's that imp doing on top of that building?

Looks a bit chilly mate :) Though, you have to love a bit of snow!

So, where's your snowman, very disapointed!! LOL

Oooh, it's good now, about 22° where we had (before snow) about 5° or less.
I was about to make a quick snowman but pizza got me sidetracked!  >:(

You and ya Pizza LOL

Did you see our Norman Castle. It sits in the centre of Norwich and has some wonderful Dungeons and tunnels all under the city.

You have a lot of tunnels in Chicago I hear, the were used for prohibition booze.

Cool beans, a place to hide from the government!  :P
Yeah, we got tunnels built under some popular places, one of them is close to where I live on Lawrence under the famous 'Green Mill' bar which still has bullets where Capone was sitting in the corner. The place was owned by him back in the day and under it there's a tunnel which leads to the graveyard across the street where customers would line up after midnight to pick up the hooch in canisters through the open grave which had a little elevator setup up for the purpose. Back then, it was all supervised by a guy called 'Machine Gun' Jack McGurn who worked for Cappo and you can bet there was no problems under his watch.

Yep, we're here to spam, leech and teach, that's our robinhoodian moto of the week!

Plus, years ago I had to write a paper on the history of prohibition on north side of Chicago with places and people connected to it. I've ended up drunk (had to visits all these places and taste the, umm, feelin') but wrote about 26 pages of stuff. Some things I've discovered were just super, Charlie Chaplin for example used to visit that place I've mentioned with some actors/actresses as he had his studio a few blocks away on Argyle in the Uptown area.

Charlie Chaplin, who is he?

Ronald McDonald used to drink at several bars there. It was during one of his drunken bouts that he came up with the idea of a burger chain.

Or did I dream it?

Button up your night gown. The chill is making you exited and unable to think straight.
...we've all been there. ;)

Ronald is from Illinois somewhere, suburbs methinks. Shivers to think that the most responsible dude for obesity in this world comes from these parts. Then again, a lots of wrong stuff comes from around here <cough>.

I don't want to start a new thread just for this, but I'll be coming back to your shores again in 1½ month, Flash.
...not Norwich though - just London.

One of these days I'm gonna come visit you though...but I wouldn't dare to do so before I've completed UXB and Horace or you just take the piss out of me in person. :)

One of these days we all visit Flash dressed up as a giant Horace/Spiders and such. If that doesn't kill him on the doorstep then he's indestructible.  ???

I was out walking today and snapped this picture of one of our lakes, which people always mistake for a white lawn, as soon as it's frozen. :)
