Thanks for the scan Flash. That saves me from having to scan it myself. I've put it on my website too. ;)
I got my subscribers issue this morning btw which was nice...I hate waiting - especially in this case. :D

So, yeah SF - they do send to Denmark. Just hurry getting it because they often run out of back issues pretty fast.

If you ever go there, I did see the first couple of issues at HovedbanegÄrden, but that's 5 years ago (and I've been a subscriber since issue 4) so I don't know if they still stock them.

Which issue was it in? I'm also surprised my game was in that too (even it was just a little snippet and like the text about it very much, its was still in beta).

It long time ago I heard on that magazine, but forget all about it, howover I do like the theme and need to look more on that one.

Thanks hk.

Although I already know what it says (I think) I'm still looking forward to seeing it (and of course there's the rest of the magazine too. :D).
It shoud be here in a few days. I've told my mum about it and she's told me she wants a copy of the magazine. Mothers, eh? :)

Just noticed 5 minutes ago that Retro Remakes have frontpaged the news about my Horace game. Now I'm feeling the pressure...damn, I've got too much going on. :D
I've got 4 remakes in the making and now I've even ordered the new iPhone because I want to try programming for it, but considering my amount of WIP's I'm just gonna play on it for a while so learning a new language doesn't suck up all my spare time.

1). I do

2). I did write 'HK' at first, then changed it to 'hk' when I noticed he writes his username in lowercaps...but I guess that's why he's a headkaze. :D

Oh, hi HK...didn't see you there. :p

Ah,

Headaze likes lowercase for a full name, but a capitilised 'HK' for abreviations (or did I make all this up?)

I like to be known as "Flash" as a full name and "TIT" when abreviated..

So, hope that clears that all up...?

LOL

Now i am confused though, is "Sokky" still ok? or perhaps "Socky".?

Well, the abreviation I use myself is Soks but with my slow progress on just about everything it's okay if you call me Sucks. :D

Hell, having been on RR for as long as I have I even consider 'Cunt' to be a term of endearment, so don''t hold back, McFlashy. :o)

I lost my Nokia 5800 yesterday in a trail to Copenhagen. If nobody found it in the next 2 weeks (due I still have a bound contract in few weeks, might been a month), then I might get a 8GB Iphone version (or just get a new Nokia 5800 (I liked the Phone specefic the new firmware and new flash player was awesome). Just been sad SDK is for Mac only, because it would been fun to convert Seesaw Circus (which would work perfectly for any touchscreen Phone) and Space Taxi to that device.

Bummer. I hope someone finds it although I doubt that anyone who found it would return it. Call it lack of faith of in humanity.

I've never lost a phone myself but I have found several phones - perhaps 4-5 or so, and I can honestly say that I haven't kept a single one of them. "Unfortunately" I've "just" put them somewhere more visible and not gone through the trouble of going through the addressbook and try to find a one of their friends so I'd be sure that it would be returned safely to its rightful owner. I'm not perfect. People, take care of your hardware.

trail = train of course. I was lucky 2 tumes before, one with my old phone (A very nice Sony w880, which still works) which I still have. Do I dosent get a new ony before the contract is finished (I think its last month). Shit happens sometimes as I liked the Nokia 5800 (a bit slow cpu but a fast and well designed software).

Personly I would takt to a train kiosk or such without doing anything or if Im called up I would take it so I could return it. I never call to somewhere.

Nice article about you anyway :-D

-----

Somebody found it and have and phoned to my nabour, hovoer I can first git it on monday where he is work near I are there nearby. So to been sad no Iphone this time as long I have that Nokia, so instead it I might still just get a Ipod Touch instead. There exists good people :-D. Hope I get it there.

Which game do you actuelly planning for your new IPhone? A New Omega Race? I home some day the SDK come to PC but I guess its never do that.

Howover sorry If I was hijacking your thread. If Nokia was gone, I was propenty going to get a IPhone 8gb (due app shop), but I also still like the Nokia 5800, so I keep this one as long as I can when I get it back.

Ipod Touch is a nice alternative to IPhone I think (8gb would been fine for me), so just make sure it run it that which is a bit slower cpu and gpu.

Well, strictly speaking it's not my thread - Flash started it. :D

I've actually got two ideas for iThingy games but there's a lot of technical stuff to figure out first - including a new language, so it'll be quite a while before I even start - especially considering I have 4 remakes in progress that I want to finish first.

No, I won't be doing Omega Race for it, although I think that trying to control it using the accelerometer only would be the funniest thing in the world...well, almost.

Glad to hear you are going to work on the iPhone mate, we can help each other out with some of the technical stuff.

The only bugger is that you really need a mac to develop from. Though I can highly recommend the macbook pro range.

I head somewhere sharing is not allowed in the SDK Eula which is very strict?

Howover if you want to create a lilttle "start" game, you could create a little Circus remake something like this:
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=90524.0

Feel free to use music and graphics and eventuelly update it. If you update the graphics I do want a higher resoulution of it so I can use in the PC version as well.

The game might been somewhere easier on IPhone, due you just point here the man is falling, so the game can mightbeen a bit harder and faster than PC version.

PS. Should all talk about IPhone been splitted into own thread with ideas?

Perhap the iPhone should have a new thread? hmmm....

HK and myself are still not too sure where we are going with iPhone dev at the moment? But.. Circus is the kind of game that would work really well on the iPhone.

The EULA is not that important - we can always write our own LOL
