Just wanted to do a post as I will release a non-public beta at some point, soonish.
Stigma has moved on a bit from the last demo. Well, shitloads! lol. I just downloaded it an had a go. (going to remove them downloads now though)
Anyway, so what has been happening?
Stigma now has all 100 original levels in place, each with online records stored (as well as local), also there is the start of another bank of new levels (that will slowly introduce some of the new traps and items in the game). To do the new levels, I also added an editor. Well, it had to be done really. The editor will not be available to use in the release version. This is purely to create and test levels fast. The editor is fairly basic I suppose and is based off the balders version but with a cut down interface. Hopefully you will find it easy to use.
The graphics (though nothing special) are now much higher resolution as well.
The completion code is also in place.
etc. etc. etc. There really is a LOT of stuff since the last Demo, much too much to remember.
One thing of note. The new leaderboards and such are available on all formats and shared. This uses a new service I like to call "HeadBoard" lol. To use it you need to register. Our server then sends an email to activate and account. From there on in, you just log in within the game (remembered) and all your scores and records and stored online for all to attempt to beat. It appears to work really well so far, though there are other features to add like Awards, remembering the highest level played (could be a handy feature cross-platform), reseting forgotten passwords, etc.
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know.
